The practice nurses, along with a GP, undertake the following:

  • Chronic Heart Disease Monitoring
  • inhalerCOPD Monitoring
  • Asthma reviews
  • Mental Health reviews
  • Hypertension monitoring
  • Cervical Smears
  • Contraception Advice
  • Travel Health Advice and Vaccines
  • Ear Syringing
  • Wound Care
  • Removal of Stitches
  • Well man/woman checks

Some of the above require a double appointment and therefore we ask patients to tell us what they want to see the nurse for so that we can book the required time. Our receptionists have been trained to ask for this information so if would be appreciated if patients could share this when asked.
